I wrote this song, about a week ago, it concerns my younger sister, she is going through a transitional stage and has adopted a new style, some people arent comfortable with this new style and are avoiding her, this is to give her strength.
Punker Girl
by David Endicott
Hey little punker girl,
Don’t be afraid,
You should express yourself
No matter what others say
.
When they aren’t your friends when u look a little different,
Then they never were ur friends to begin with
.
So wear your nails black,
Have that duct tape on your back,
.
Color and spike your hair
Remember life isn’t always fair,
.
Hey little punker girl,
Don’t be afraid
You should express yourself
No matter what others say
.
You’ll always have a special place in my heart,
The punker I always knew was in you
But most importantly about all else
You must be true to yourself
