Forgotten
Each day gets longer and longer, each night colder and colder. Tomorrow won't come nearly as quick as I need it to, but then again neither will you. Shattered glass and broken memories line the path of a crooked dream. Never say never until it forces you to choose. But those choices are covered with deception and when it comes down to it there's just no right way to go. Blindly I point in the only direction I've ever know. Coldly I go where I know you can not follow. Yesterday is gone. Tommorrow is yet to come. Slowly I wait for the tears to soak away my soul.
