I HEARD THAT TREE FALL
.

I heard that tree fall -
(the one in the woods that falls
when no one is around).
I heard it fall/crash to the ground -
supremely indifferent.
Yet I've heard people say
that there are those who
hold up the world - that
they are among us - and
the world would no longer be - if
in their very thoughts
they weren't thinking about the trees.
Do I doubt? I only doubt
that which cannot be.
None of us want to be made fools of.
I'm still skeptical... yet
I heard that tree fall,
and someday I will also.
Will anyone hear me?
