Goodbye

I've become a magnified part of my personality
Trying to think deep thoughts and getting angry at my
simplicity
I've become a joke to me
Lost my real self, for someone else and now it must
all come back you
see
Melancholy and brooding dark sides
When reality is just happy-go-lucky

Optimistic, but realistic my pains don't run that deep
Flick of a bic and it's all bathed in light
Nothing means anything not even last night
Put on a happy face and dream everything is alright

You haven't really got a clue
What it all means to you
Slip sliding away
