Hey guys (gender neutral okay?) ! I was just reading some of your stuff, Eric. I especially appreciate the "Fat Men" poem. And while it is true that 'what is, is', we would never 'progress' without that ability to critically think (through the spiritual and emotional and cultural filters)and then act to affect change. Does a 'street person' have more or less freedom - is freedom choices or power? Or is it consciousness? The New Orleans article was thought provoking - living in this three dimesional world, we are perhaps inundated by the dualities, the ironies, the contradictions - the trick is make sense of it, or make peace with it. Maybe for everyone but not all the time it's okay to think 'what is, is'. Other times we need to ACT! and say "Enough!" Like my nephew, Bill, who always used to say (about everything), "this SUCKS!, now tends to say, "Hey, It's ALL good!" -Mark Foley
